Epcot 2019 Flower & Garden Festival

This year's flower and garden festival is the best one yet! We tried all of the vegan items and gave carnivore claw ratings. We got Vegetable Spring Rolls from Lotus House in China, From the Garden: Roasted Beets, Cashew Cheese, and Micro Herbs with Lemon oil dressing from Flavor Full Kitchen, Roasted Cauliflower with Buckwheat Honey Carrot Purée, Wild Rice Pilaf, Asparagus, Honey-Blistered Grapes, Sunflower Brittle and Coriander Flowers from the Honey Bee Stro, Tuna Tataki minus the tuna with Spicy Yuzu Glaze, Mango, Avocado and Pappadam Crisp from Citrus and Blossom, Carne Guisada with Black Bean Cake and Cilantro Lime Sour Cream minus the Carne and Sour Cream but with a special corn pico added from the Florida Fresh stand, and lastly, Trowel & Trellis sponsored by Impossible, which had a Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, Creamy Herb Dressing, Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread, Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea featuring Twinings of London with Tito’s Handmade Vodka served in a Mason Jar, and Chocolate Pudding Terrarium with Avocado Cream, Matcha Crumb, Pomegranate and Baby Herbs.

We explore the festival activities too. There's lots of great entertainment. Spending a whole day at Epcot is so easy during a festival. We see the new Coco show, take you around the park, try some drinks, and enjoy the topiaries. The new ones that we got this year are Toy Story, Daisy, and the sunflowers. Pooh and the gang were moved to a more appropriate spot. Music filled the park, there was a butterfly garden, and lots of places to dance.

Then, in a surprising turn of events, the Bear tried some non-plant based food and hated it! Why might you ask? Check out the video to find out. He got Citrus-poached Salmon with Ancient Grain Salad, Roasted Vegetables from Flavor Full Kitchen, Kikkoman Plum wine cooler from Lotus House in China, Jasmine Draft Beer from Lotus House in China, Crispy Citrus Chicken with Orange aïoli and baby greens from the Citrus Blossom, First Magnitude Brewing Lemon Hefeweizen from the Citrus Blossom, Harissa Chicken Kabab with dried fruit couscous, Fried Cauliflower with capers, garlic parsley, and chili-ranch sauce
